Client Objective
NTI is proud to have been selected to design the comprehensive low-voltage systems for this expansive project. Our scope spanned from the core infrastructure and utility spaces to the specialized technology required for the guestrooms, public areas, and the new spa, ensuring high-performance connectivity throughout this unique manor conversion.
From initial space planning to full infrastructure rollout, we designed a workspace built for performance and security. We engineered a scalable cabling system for seamless voice, data, and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the office. Additionally, we integrated a comprehensive security suite featuring strategic CCTV and smart access control at all building entry points and elevators.
NTI Solutions
Technology Design
NTI coordinated with the owners and architects to design a comprehensive technology infrastructure for the facility. Our detailed drawings and specifications cover everything from equipment rooms and cabling pathways to precise power and HVAC requirements. By following globally recognized TIA/EIA, ANSI, and BICSI standards, we created a high-speed “information highway” that reliably supports all data, security, television, and wireless systems.
Cabling System
Our team implemented a robust, standards-compliant infrastructure consisting of copper and fiber optic cabling. This backbone supports all critical voice and data applications, including Property Management Systems, POS, and building-wide wireless access.
Security
NTI designed the CCTV and Card access systems and Duress Alarms at defined ingress/egress locations to and from the building, as well as within the scope area. The CCTV system design includes specifications and elevations for security cameras, monitors, and DVR units (digital recorders).
Construction Administration
Services included responding to technical RFIs and conducting site observations to verify that the contractor’s progress and workmanship aligned with NTI’s documented requirements.
We collaborated with the ownership and architectural teams throughout the project to assist in future-proofing Hotel Hartness for evolving technological needs.
