Mixed-Use Technology Design
Residential, retail, hotel and office tenants all share one building but need separate networks, separate security and different service providers. Cellular and Wi-Fi coverage has to reach from parking garages to rooftop amenities. And mixed-use projects often open in phases, so the shared backbone has to be designed up front for tenants who haven't signed yet.

The largest adaptive reuse project in Atlanta's history turned the historic Sears building into 330,000 sq ft of retail and restaurants, 475,000 sq ft of office, 259 residential flats and Jamestown's own headquarters. NTI designed the shared low-voltage systems across those uses.
FAQs
How do you keep tenant networks and security separate?
We design one shared backbone with separate telecom spaces, network segmentation and access control zones for each tenant type.
Can you plan for tenants who haven't signed yet?
Yes. We size pathways, carrier rooms and riser capacity for future fit-outs so later tenants can connect without rework.
Do you design DAS?
Yes. We design distributed antenna systems and coordinate carrier participation so cellular coverage reaches garages, cores and amenity levels.
Do you sell or install equipment?
No. NTI is vendor-neutral and doesn’t sell or install equipment. If you’d like one team from design through installation, our parent company, ASD, can handle the bid and build phases.
