NTI was founded in 1998 by Jeff Cook and his partners to provide professional commercial technology consultation services.
Jeff was ahead of his time in recognizing the emerging need for informed expertise for the technologies that rely on a low voltage infrastructure.
The NTI senior management team has grown into thought leaders in the low voltage industry, with over 100 years of collective expertise. Our collective staff hold industry designations such as RCDD, RCDD/NTS, CTS, CTS-D, and PMP.
NTI’s team of professionals design the structured cabling, wireless systems, security systems and audio visual systems for multiple industries.

In 2018, following a decade of exceptional momentum and proven success, NTI caught the attention of Automated Systems Design (ASD). The strategic acquisition that followed was born out of a clear, powerful synergy: the opportunity to bridge the gap between the drafting board and the construction site.
By marrying NTI’s elite technology consulting and pure design engineering with ASD’s massive, hands-on low-voltage installation and build capabilities, we closed the loop on the technology lifecycle. This alignment didn't change NTI's commitment to pure, vendor-neutral design—instead, it supercharged it, giving our clients a seamless, single-source pathway from initial concept to opening-day deployment.
