Hospitality Technology Design

Every flag has its own technology standards, and a design that misses one can stall a brand sign-off or an opening date. Guests now arrive with three or four devices each and expect ballroom-grade Wi-Fi in every room, so networks have to be built for density rather than coverage alone. And most renovations happen while the hotel stays open, which means phasing cabling, Wi-Fi and security work floor by floor without taking rooms or revenue offline.

Structured Cabling

Copper and fiber backbone, telecom rooms and pathways for property, guest and brand networks, designed to ANSI, TIA/EIA and BICSI standards.

IT

High-density guest and back-of-house wireless, plus distributed antenna systems for cellular coverage in towers, ballrooms and below-grade spaces.

Security

CCTV and cloud-based surveillance, smart-card and badge access, and intrusion detection that protects guests while staying out of sight.

Audio Visual

Ballrooms, meeting and pre-function spaces, restaurants, bars, pools and lobbies, including background music and digital signage.

A boutique renovation with a coastal, vintage-surf look and a poolside bar and restaurant, the Little Palm. NTI designed the copper and fiber backbone, guest and property networks, AV, and CCTV with smart-card access, then supported the build through construction administration and RFI responses.

FAQs

Can you design to our brand's technology standards?

Yes. We design to Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and other brand standards and work with brand technology teams to get designs approved before construction.

We phase the design so cabling, Wi-Fi and security work can be done floor by floor or wing by wing, keeping rooms sellable and back-of-house systems running through each phase.

As early as programming. Getting telecom rooms, pathways and power right in schematic design costs far less than fixing them in construction, and an early technology budget keeps owners from surprises later.

No. NTI is vendor-neutral and doesn’t sell or install equipment. If you’d like one team from design through installation, our parent company, ASD, can handle the bid and build phases.
