Multi-Family Technology Design

Residents expect fast, reliable connectivity the day they move in, and many developers now deliver managed Wi-Fi as an amenity, which changes how the whole building is cabled. Access control has to cover lobbies, amenity spaces, package rooms and garages without frustrating residents or leasing staff. And technology decisions made late in construction turn into change orders, so the budget and design need to be settled early.

FAQs

Can you design for managed Wi-Fi or a bulk internet agreement?

Yes. We design the cabling, telecom rooms and wireless so the building can support a managed Wi-Fi provider or bulk agreement, and we can help compare provider proposals.

During programming or schematic design. Settling technology early lets us budget it accurately and coordinate pathways and telecom rooms before they become field changes.

Yes. We’ve designed technology for numerous Grubb Properties communities across the U.S., and we can carry one standard from building to building.

No. NTI is vendor-neutral and doesn’t sell or install equipment. If you’d like one team from design through installation, our parent company, ASD, can handle the bid and build phases.
