Client Objective
NTI was designated to design the low-voltage system for this 605-key luxury hotel, in which the designed amenity spaces consists of a lobby area, Porte a Cochere, Lobby Bar, Coffee Shop, Steak & Chophouse, Entertainment Restaurant with bar, a 3-meal restaurant with kitchen, a pool bar and Grille, Pool Area with Pool Deck, a Fitness Center, Spa, Ballrooms, Meeting Space and Banquet Kitchen. Other designed areas include BOH/Support, MEP Systems, and Connection to the new Convention Center.
After completing the space planning phase, we proceeded to design the infrastructure, creating superbly detailed drawings for the cabling systems—including telephone, data, and voice—as well as layouts for security and wireless networks.
Serving as the technology consultant for this elegant hotel, NTI delivered expert insight in shaping the framework that underpins efficient operations and a high-end guest experience.
NTI Solutions
Technology Design
NTI designed and produced drawings and specifications for the facility’s technology infrastructure by coordinating with the architect and the ownership group. The drawings detail all cabling, technology equipment rooms, power and HVAC requirements, cabling pathways, and other ITS elements. Using a globally recognized standards-based approach per TIA/EIA, ANSI, and BICSI guidelines, the completed ITS serves as the information highway for all data, security, TV, and wireless systems.
Cabling System
A standards-based vendor-approved infrastructure for the work stations consisting of copper and fiber optic cabling to support voice (PBX, voicemail, call accounting systems) and data (Point-of-Sale, Property Management, Administrative LAN, and wireless, internet) services.
Security
NTI designed the CCTV system for this project. The design includes specifications and elevations for security cameras, monitors, digital recorders, and card readers.
Construction Administration
During the construction phase, NTI personnel responded to inquiries from contractors regarding the technology systems’ build-out. We also visited the site to observe the contractor’s progress, workmanship, and adherence to NTI drawings and specifications.
Our team collaborated closely with the architectural and ownership groups from concept to completion, ensuring the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel was thoughtfully designed to accommodate evolving technology requirements.
