Three generations after starting the company and Jonathan Tisch, the chairman and CEO, is keeping it all in the family. Loews Hotels are one-of-a-kind luxury, upper scale hotels that are located throughout the US and Canada. Headquarters in New York, Loew’s plan on expanding in urban settings and resort destinations across the world.
NTI is proud to have served as the technology consultant for the new Loews Kansas City Hotel. We lead the planning and design services for the facilities infrastructure and the systems that rely upon it.
This Loews Hotel is over 400,000 GSF and has 800 guestrooms to start. The hotel includes about 60,000 SF of meeting and event space, including the largest ballroom in Kansas City. It has an indoor saltwater pool, a lobby bar, restaurant, luxury spa, and a state of the art fitness center.
NTI Solutions
Facility Technology Design
NTI designed and produced drawings for the technology infrastructure by coordinating with the architect and ownership group. Drawings detailed all cable, patch panels, terminations, TV amps and taps, faceplates, racks, cable management, testing, labeling, and certifications and warranties.
Security
NTI designed the cabling, terminations, CCTV cameras, door contacts, alarm system, monitors, DVR, testing, training, and system warranty.
Audio Visual Services
To include cabling, speakers, control panels, AV input panels, displays, projectors, interconnect equipment, coordination with lighting installer for the integrated control system, system warranty, and training. Issued as a separate drawing set for AV integrators to bid on the installation.
Construction Administration
During the construction phase, NTI responded to inquiries from contractors regarding the technology systems and visited the site to witness the contractor’s progress, workmanship, and adherence to NTI drawings and specifications.
