Client Objective
The design work for this project encompassed a diverse range of spaces tailored to both gaming and racing operations. Key areas included the High Roller section, slot and table gaming floor, Brew Brothers Bar, and a fully equipped kitchen. Supporting functions such as administrative offices, jockey quarters, camera tower, vet area, and horse barn were also designed. Additionally, the consultation addressed simulcast coordination, racing camera systems, and other critical infrastructure to ensure a seamless casino and racing experience.
Upon completion of space planning, we outlined the infrastructure. This process consisted of drawings for the cabling systems (including telephone, data, and voice), security, IT, and wireless networks.
As the technology consultant for this leading casino and racetrack, NTI provided expert guidance in developing the critical infrastructure that supports seamless daily operations, helping to deliver an exceptional entertainment experience for every guest.
NTI Solutions
Facility Technology Design
NTI designed and produced drawings and specifications for the facility’s technology infrastructure by coordinating with the architect and the ownership group. The drawings detail all cabling, technology equipment rooms, power and HVAC requirements, cabling pathways, and other ITS elements. Using a globally recognized standards-based approach per TIA/EIA, ANSI, and BICSI guidelines, the completed ITS serves as the information highway for all data, security, TV, and wireless systems.
Cabling System
A standards-based vendor-approved infrastructure for the work stations consisting of copper and fiber optic cabling to support voice (PBX, voicemail, call accounting systems) and data (Point-of-Sale, Property Management, Administrative LAN, and wireless, internet) services.
Audio Visual Services
Included cabling, speakers, control panels, AV input panels, displays, projectors, and interconnect for equipment. Furthermore, included a separate drawing set for AV integrators.
Security
NTI designed the CCTV system for this project. The design includes specifications and elevations for security cameras, monitors, and digital recorders.
Construction Administration
During the construction phase, NTI personnel responded to inquiries from contractors regarding the technology systems’ build-out. We also visited the site to observe the contractor’s progress, workmanship, and adherence to NTI drawings and specifications.
Through close coordination with the architectural and ownership teams, our team guided the project from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring Harrah’s Casino and Racetrack was equipped to meet future technology demands, which include door contacts, glass break detectors, motion detectors, duress alarms, and software to monitor and manage the system.
