Client Objective
NTI was pleased to provide comprehensive low-voltage system design services for the new facility. Our work covered:
- The Structured Cabling System to support Phones, Data, Wireless, and temperature monitoring.
- CCTV security, including surveillance, intrusion detection, and duress alarms.
- Paging Systems for internal communication.
- Audio Visual, Sound Masking, and Control Systems.
We delivered a complete construction document set, beginning with space planning and ensuring all systems aligned with the operational needs and design goals.
NTI Solutions
Facility Technology Design
NTI designed and produced drawings and specifications for the facility’s technology infrastructure. The drawings detail cabling, technology equipment rooms, power and HVAC requirements, cabling pathways, and other ITS elements. Using a globally recognized standards-based approach per TIA/EIA, ANSI, and BICSI guidelines, the completed ITS serves as the information highway for all data, security, TV, and wireless systems.
Cabling System
A standards-based vendor-approved infrastructure consisting of copper and fiber optic cabling to support voice (PBX, voicemail, call accounting systems) and data (Administrative LAN, wireless, and hardwired internet) services.
Security
NTI designed the CCTV, card access, and duress alarm systems for defined ingress and egress points throughout the building, as well as other areas within the project scope. The CCTV system design includes specifications and elevations for security cameras, monitors, and DVR (digital video recorder) units.
Audio Visual
We designed and produced construction documents and specifications for the AV system requirements, in alignment with brand standards and client directives. Our AV systems design addressed all components related to audiovisual content delivery in the conference rooms and huddle rooms. The construction documents and performance specifications detailed all necessary components for these spaces, including speakers, cabling, AV wall plates, input sources, amplifiers, junction boxes, conduit, and supporting infrastructure.
Construction Administration
Throughout the construction phase, NTI personnel responded to inquiries regarding the technology systems’ build-out and conducted site visits to monitor the contractor’s progress, workmanship, and adherence to NTI’s drawings and specifications.
From the earliest planning stages through final execution, we exercised great diligence to ensure that the CAVA facility was optimally structured to meet the evolving technological demands of the future.
