Client Objective
NTI was selected for the technology consultation, including design services, as well as providing construction administration services to confirm the design intent. This distinguished hotel and its amenity spaces encompass approximately 128,000 GSF.
Our scope for the Bowie House included the 106 guestrooms and 10,000 sf of meeting and event space. The amenities in scope were the library, the spa and fitness center, a covered patio, and an amenity deck on level two. Additionally, our design addressed the impressive dining options – Bricks and Horses, The Bar at Bowie House, and The Yard, which offers an outdoor communal space. NTI also completed a low-voltage consultation for the 74,000 sf below-grade parking areas.

NTI Solutions
Cabling System
An infrastructure consisting of copper and fiber optic cabling to support voice (PBX, voicemail, call accounting systems) and data (Point-of-Sale, Property Management, Administrative LAN, time clock, wireless, and hardwired internet) services.
MATV/CATV
The vendor-approved cabling infrastructure consists of coaxial cabling, splitters, taps, and amplifiers to provide a complete distribution system. The system supports the Free-To-Guest (FTG), Pay-Per-View (PPV), and CATV systems.
Security
Security system typically includes video surveillance (cameras, monitors, digital recorders, video management, and archiving software) and intrusion Detection (door contact alarms, alarm control panel, keypads, motion detectors, duress alarms). We incorporate device locations in our drawing set as part of the Construction Documents.
Audio Visual
We designed and produced construction documents and specifications for the AV systems requirements, following client direction and standards. Our AV systems design addressed all components related to audio visual content for the library and guestrooms. Our construction documents and performance specifications addressed all speakers, cabling, AV wall plates, input sources, amplifiers, junction boxes, conduit, and infrastructure for the public spaces, meeting spaces, spa, and treatment rooms.
