Client Objective

The Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City has the mission to provide authentic hospitality by making a difference in the lives of the people they can touch every day. They take pride in their services and wanted to build a hotel that services Salt Lake City, the largest city in the state of Utah, in hopes of bringing in more convention goers and tourism to the active surrounding area.

NTI had the pleasure of helping these hopes come alive by providing the low voltage design consultation for the IT, Security, and AV systems throughout the 686,000 sf hotel.

This hotel stands at 26 stories tall and has 180-degree views of the beautiful Wasatch mountains in 33 of its 770 rooms. Guests have the option to enjoy various amenities, restaurants, and over 60,000 sf of meeting and event space. The largest of the ballrooms is over 23,000 sf and can comfortably serve over 2,800 attendees.

One of the highlights of the conference areas is the huddle spaces outside of the meeting rooms that are equipped with audio/visual equipment. This enables conferencegoers to leave the meeting area and catch their breath while still being tuned into the presenter.

After a long day at conferences, there are multiple restaurants and bars to choose from to relax and take in the mountain views. The lobby cocktail lounge area is called the Contribution Lounge and has floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the vibrant city area. The lobby’s restaurant is called the Salt Republic and resides as the hotel’s American Bistro offering. It serves alongside the rooftop restaurant called Mar | Muntanya which serves Northern Spanish cuisine.

If you don’t have the time and need quick dining options, the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City offers The Market, a 24-hour café that serves sandwiches, local fares like cheeses and wine, and other to-go items.

NTI provided the Low Voltage design for the Hotel’s Structured Cabling, AV, and Security Systems and couldn’t be more proud to witness the opening of such a beautiful and grand hotel.
