Atlanta United Training Facility
Industry: Recreation
Size: 25,000 SF
Location: Marietta, GA
Project Team: TVS
Scope: Structured Cable, AV, Security
Client Objective
NTI provided security system consulting, design, construction documents, and construction administration for the Atlanta United soccer complex who has the goal to develop a culture that encourages the personal development of skills and abilities of all players in a nurturing environment. The facility includes a 25,000 GSF headquarters building and parking on a 31-acre site.
The facility was created to foster openness and an aspirational environment. The building faces the fields so academy players, employees, and first-team players can feel connected and focused on the club. The first-team locker room is oval-shaped with no corners to promote unity. The academy locker rooms are built the same way. The complex also includes two in-ground hydrotherapy pools, a full-service kitchen, and tactics and media room.

NTI Solutions
Access control points include employee entrances, control points in the parking areas, and throughout the 6,000 SF office area. We designed ingress and egress control points for the overall site/campus. Provisions were made to connect the targeted future development areas into the system.
All CCTV cameras are part of a centrally networked system monitored at the security office with remote access monitoring capabilities (via password protected network access from a PC).
CCTV coverage areas include the building entrances, common access areas, and employee and public ingress/egress access areas. The CCTV system can monitor shared interest cameras by local law enforcement personnel if desire).
For the office and building areas locked during off-hours, we anticipated an alarm/intrusion detection system. This system could include door contacts, glass break detectors, motion detectors, duress alarms, and software to monitor and manage the system.
